Blogging for Profit Begins With a Long Term Plan

Many people dream of blogging for profit, and this goal
is not far beyond the reach of someone with average
intelligence, a willingness to work hard, and a basic
grasp of blogging technology. However, very few
people manage to reap the profits they want from their
blog. Most people who attempt to make money with
their blogs do not succeed for two reasons. Often,
bloggers have unrealistic expectations of how fast their
readership will grow and how much money they will
make, and when these expectations are not met the
disappointment can crush the desire to continue
blogging. The other trap that many bloggers fall into
has to do with lack of planning. If you want to turn a
profit as a blogger, the key to success is to make a
realistic plan and stick with it.

To succeed at blogging for profit, the main thing that
you will need is a large readership. The higher your
traffic, the more advertisers will agree to pay you.
However, cultivating the regular visitors that you will
need in order to make a profit isnt easy. As more and
more blogs appear each day, having a great idea or a
wonderful writing style is no longer enough to get
attention. You need to be able to market your blog
effectively.

Too many bloggers spend all of their time writing posts
and almost no time marketing their project. To be
certain, updating as often as you can is a great way to
keep your blog high on blogrolls and high in blog
search engines like technorati, and once your readers
know that you update frequently they will return to your
site on a regular basis. However, it does not matter how
often you update if nobody is reading your page, so dont
skimp on the time that you spend drawing visitors to
your site. To make your dreams of blogging for profit a
reality, try decreasing your number of posts and using
some of that time to draw new visitors by setting up
link exchanges with other bloggers, making contacts in
the blog community, and following other established
modes of winning traffic.

Of course, even if you are a marketing genius or have a
really great idea for a blog, success is not going to
happen overnight. Building the kind of readership that
blogging for profit requires takes time, and in all
likelihood it will be at least several months before you
are able to turn much of a profit. Try to stay committed
to your blogging project during this initial rough period.
To stay motivated, set goals for how often you will
update and how many readers you want to attract, and
then reward yourself for sticking with your plan.

Winners....

1. Listen to and follow their intuition. They know how intuitions and insights come to them and are tuned-in internally to make wise decisions.

3. Reflect on and learn from past experiences, finding out what works and what doesn't, and then adjusts their course of action as needed. They think about things before jumping in, and also take the time after-the-fact to actively reflect to fully understand what happened or didn't happen.

4. Can easily entertain innovative ideas, thoughts, and ways of doing things. They long for progressive and forward thinking information, concepts, and people. They often come up with new and radical ideas on a regular basis.

5. Are open to different perspectives and see possibilities where most people don't. They are comfortable with paradoxes and can relate to numerous sides of an issue or opinion.

6. Recognize and respond quickly to opportunities and people. They act and react fast, and take care of what needs to be taken care-of, well ahead of schedule.

7. Don't have to know it all, but they do know where to go to get whatever information, resources, training, education that they need. They are well networked and have people to call on for resource referrals.

9. Are committed to being a lifelong learner. They continuously learn new things, and stay current with their skills, attitudes, and beliefs.

10. Do not take themselves or life too seriously. They recognize the importance of finding the fun in the irony and the comedy of everyday life.

Let Creativity Reign

People appear to have the delusion that only a few are capable of creative genius. This is one of life's biggest myths. The truth is, creativity is very much like a muscle; everyone has the ability, but it needs to be used in order not to waste away and disappear. Below are some ways you can unleash the creativity within yourself.

Read everything to be had -- good and bad, and keep your mind open to the never-ending potential of the universe. The more you know, the more you will desire to know, and the more your sense of wonder will be exercised.

Focus on a creative activity everyday. Even doodling is a creative activity.

Think outside the box -- or don't. Sometimes, constraints are in reality a good thing. Boundaries discipline you to work within your means. They allow you to be more imaginative. Creative freedom is great, but limitations enforce discipline.

Attempt something new on a daily basis and let your experiences extend your point of view. Open up to the people around you. As you push yourself out of your comfort zone further and further every day, your sense of adventure grows and so does your passion for life.

Embrace insanity. The thing is, sanity or being ordinary limits people to think... well, normally. Creativity is for all intents and purposes breaking through barriers. It's important that your creativity doesn't get you detached from the real world completely.

I trust this article has encouraged you to start thinking further than your "limits." If you follow these steps soon you'll be living a life full of out of the ordinary adventures. Unleashing your creative thinking will bring about a new passion for living life. As this new fervor begins to develop, so will your creativity - the two are dependent upon each other.

Why Be Positive?

Thoughts are very powerful. They affect your general attitude. The attitude you carry reflects on your appearance. It doesn't end there. Your attitude can also affect people around you.

Positive thoughts have a satisfying effect. They are invigorating. This kind of attitude typically energizes the people around you.

Negative thoughts have a draining effect on other people. Aside from making you look gloomy and sad, negative thoughts can turn a festive gathering into a funeral wake.

A positive attitude attracts people, while a negative attitude repels them. People tend to shy away from those who carry a negative attitude.

We can describe attitude as the way of looking at the world. If you opt to focus on the pessimistic things in the world, you have a negative attitude. However, if you choose to focus on the positive things, you are more apt to carry a positive attitude.

A positive attitude promotes better health. Those with a positive attitude have more friends. Projecting a positive attitude also helps one to handle stress and troubles better than those who have a negative attitude.

A positive attitude begins with a healthy self-image. If you love the way you are and are satisfied, confident, and self-assured, you also make others are around feel the same way.

A negative attitude has the opposite effect. So, carrying a negative attitude has a twofold drawback. You feel bad about yourself, and you make others feel the same way.

All around us, the media feeds us nothing but negative thoughts. A study shows that for every 14 things a parent says to his or her child, only one is positive. This is truly a saddening thought. Although it is impossible to keep ourselves from the negative things around us, you can still carry a positive attitude by focusing on the good things, the positive things in life. Hopefully, your positive thoughts will spread and the negativity will begin to disappear.

How to Make Choices

You have the choice between being a lost tourist or a conductor of your life. Life offers you many choices, but many people are afraid to make a choice. Nevertheless take care that you do not formulate decisions chaotically. Below are a number of pointers that can help you select the best option in the face of life's crossroads:

*Acquire as much information as you can about your situation.

You cannot discover the self-confidence to make a decision when you know so little about what you are faced with. Ask the five W's: what, who, when, where, and why. What is the situation? Who are the people involved? When did this happen? Where is this leading? Why are you in this situation? This is imperative. Oftentimes, the reason for hesitancy is the lack of information about a situation.

*Identify and create options.

What options do the circumstances present you? Every now and then the options are few, but every so often they are many. However what do you do when you believe that the situation offers no options? This is the point in time that you generate your own. Make your creative mind work. From the most basic to the most complex, think about every one of the ideas. At times the most extreme idea may possibly prove to be the exact one in the end.

*Weigh the pros and cons of every option.

Evaluate every one of your options by looking at the advantages and disadvantages it offers you. In this way, you get additional insight about the consequences of such an option.

*Trust yourself.

Now that you have assessed your options, it is time to have confidence in yourself. Keep in mind that there are no guarantees. So choose...decide... believe that you are choosing the most excellent choice at this moment in time.

How To Be Happy

Is there some secret that those who always seem happy are hiding? Not at all. They just have a way of turning negative into positive. Below are a few ways you to can start bringing more happiness and less negativity into your life.

*Take care of yourself physically. It's much easier to be optimistic when you are eating well, exercising, and getting enough rest.

*Be thankful. Stresses and challenges don't seem as terrible when you remind yourself of the things that are right in life.

* Don't Assume. Don't waste time worrying that you did something incorrect unless you have evidence that there is something to worry about.

* Don't use absolutes. Thinking and talking in absolutes like 'always' and 'never' makes the situation appear worse than it is.

*Think positively. Your thoughts can't hold any power over you if you don't judge them. If you notice yourself having a negative thought, detach from it, witness it, and don't follow it.

*Get and give hugs. Positive physical contact with friends, loved ones, and even pets, is an instant pick-me-up.

*Increase your social activity. Surround yourself with healthy, happy people, and their positive energy will affect you in a positive way!

*Volunteer. Everyone feels good after helping. You can volunteer your time, your money, or your resources. The more positive energy you put out into the world, the more you will receive in return.

*Don't dwell on the negative. It's never productive, because it's not rational or solution-oriented; it's just excessive worry. Try changing your physical environment - go for a walk or sit outside. You could also call a friend, pick up a book, or turn on some music.

Practice does indeed make perfect. Before long, the above traits will become automatic. You will look back and realize how far you have come. You will have become one of the ones people look to for the "secret" of happiness.

Keeping a Positive Attitude

Any person can be capable of having a positive attitude when things are going well. What if truth is told matters more is how you do something when things are going poorly. That is what determines the strength of your moral fiber. An appropriate attitude means feeling optimistic in difficult times. Add up your blessings. Look for the good. Below are six simple yet effective ways to create a positive attitude.

Choose to be Enthusiastic - Think enthusiastically. Talk excitedly. Become passionate by acting passionate. Your thoughts and actions set up your level of enthusiasm.

Think like Tigger - Walk quickly. Place a bounce in your step. A vigorous, hearty handshake indicates you are glad to be alive and happy to be with the other person. A good smile radiates interest. Force yourself to act with enthusiasm, and soon you will feel enthusiastic.

Bring Good News - No one ever made a friend or accomplished something meaningful by transmitting bad news. Good news, on the other hand, promotes good will and spreads enthusiasm. Always aim to make the person you talk to feel better than they otherwise would.

Visualize - All peak performers visualize success. Before you try to do anything, close your eyes and visualize yourself doing it well.

Talk to Yourself - What did you say to yourself today? Did you moan and groan about everyone. What we think is 100% reflected in how we feel. If all we think about is negative thoughts, our actions will be negative.

Love Others - Bring encouragement, optimism, and hope to all that you meet. Help others feel comfortable in your presence. Spread joy and goodwill. Be concerned about the wishes and desires of others. Be understanding, caring, accepting, and forgiving. Become more concerned about helping others achieve their individual desires.

*Know your purpose
Identify your life purpose or mission statement and you will have your own exclusive compass that will lead you to your truth north every time.

* Know your values
What do you value most? Is it love, family, freedom? Knowing exactly what is important to you will reassure you in times of doubt.

*Know your needs
Do you have a need to be acknowledged, to be correct, to be in control, to be loved? There are so many people who lived their lives without realizing their dreams and most of them end up being stressed or even depressed.

*Know your passions
What gets your blood flowing? What makes you angry? Determined? Knowing what fuels your emotions will help you know what you need to do.

*Know your inner being

What is Intuition

When you feel strongly about something with no logical basis for that feeling, it is called intuition. Intuition comes in three ways - clairvoyance or "the third eye", sensing clearly and feeling through listening.

Clairvoyance is when your mind goes outside of what it can see. This is when you recognize what is happening somewhere other than where you are.

Sensing clearly is basically what we refer to as "hunch" or "gut feel." These are the times when you are besieged with a feeling that you can't explain and all you can say is "I just know." This is the most commonly experienced type.

On the other hand, feeling through listening or clairaudience is being able to "listen" between the lines. Intuition also happens at times when a certain sound, whatever it is - be it a car's honk or a bird's twitting - ushers in an intense feeling. This is not to be confused with auditory hallucinations, or hearing voices telling you to do things.

You may believe only certain people have this ability. The truth is, we all have it. It is a matter of believing in yourself and listening to that still, small feeling inside. Doing so will enhance every area of your life, from personal to business relationships.

Intuition promotes good communication. It makes you more sensitive to the people around you; it often keeps you from hurting those you love because you are able to understand them. It also makes you far more creative. Intuition means releasing added creative juice. Finally, intuition has a healing power. This healing power is not in the physical sense, but in delving deep into your soul to get rid of all negative energy buried there.

Take time each day to practice developing intuition. You will not have to wait long to see the positive results doing so brings about.

Why Relax?

Experts have determined that heart disease is connected to anger and. Too much stress can lead to or cause a heart attack. Relaxation takes on extra meaning in light of this matter. Managing your anger and attitude is important to heart health, and relaxation can help you manage stress. We will examine some ways that relaxation can be effectively achieved. Hopefully one will appeal to you.

One method of relaxation is transcendental meditation. Studies have shown that this method may lessen artery blockage, which is a major cause for heart attack and stroke. The researchers found that practitioners of transcendental meditation radically reduced the thickness of their arterial wall.

Another manner of relaxation, acupuncture, seems to reduce high blood pressure by triggering the brain to release chemical compounds known as endorphins, which help relax muscles, ease panic, decrease pain, and reduce anxiety.

Breathing is one of the easiest methods to relax. Breathing affects our mind, our moods and our body. Simply focus on your breathing, after some time you can feel its effects.

Another simple way to attain relaxation is exercise. If you feel irritated a simple half-hour of exercise will frequently settle your mind.

Hypnosis is one controversial relaxation technique. It is a good quality substitute for people who think that they have no idea what it feels like to be relaxed. It is also a good alternative for people with stress related health problems.

The above relaxation techniques are just a few of the ways you can accomplish relaxation. An additional inspiration for why we must relax, aside from lowering blood pressure in people and decreasing the chances of a stroke or a heart attack, is because stress produces hormones that hold back the immune system. Relaxation gives the immune system time to recuperate and in doing so function more competently.

Thinking Positively

Positive thinking will help you accomplish things that you never thought likely. Thinking big is the first step in realizing your dreams and meeting with success. Ideas and dreams are a good start, but will quickly fizzle without action. Below are some steps you can take to add positive thinking into your life. You will be amazed at how quickly things start happening when you do so.

* Take passionate action towards living your life by design. Talk is cheap. Action = deposits in the bank of a passionately authentic future. Without it, passion is negated.

* Commit to yourself as well as those you love to create forcefully a life you can love. Instead of reacting, commit to creating from your heart and soul, out of love rather than fear.

* Identify and embrace the idea that every moment is ideal despite of its ending. Every time you hit on something that may appear too excessive, why not give it a attempt and see if it will work.

* Dwell completely in a place of thankfulness. Learn to use what you have in your hands and make employ it in the most constructive way.

* Keep humor at the forefront of thought, laughing at and with yourself when possible. You may find yourself quite entertaining when you loosen up!

* Believe that you are the engineer of your fate. No one can take your passionate future from you except for you! Create your life genuinely. As long as there's still breath in your body, there is no end to how much you can achieve in a lifetime.

Without having some positive thinking in your life-you'll just end up as a dim bulb in a dark corner. Make your path and allow your inner light to shine brightly for the entire world to see.

Practical Goal-Setting

Below are some pointers that must be taken into consideration when setting goals and achieving them.

*Attitude plays an extremely large role in setting and achieving your goals. You should ask yourself if any part of you or your mind is holding you back from completing your goals? Is there are any part of your actions that is being an obstruction or puts your plans into disorder? If you do have problems in these areas then the immediate thing to do is to tackle this problem.

*Careers are made by excellent time management practice. Failing in a career is often credited to bad time management.

*Education is key in achieving your goals. If your goals require you to have a certain type of degree or need a certain specialization or require a certain ability to be developed, make plans to get the proper education.

*Your family should never be left out of your plans.

*Personal finances also play a key role in achieving your goals. Set a realistic goal on how much you actually desire to earn. You also should be able to generate plans or stages by which you will be able to attain your earning potential.

*Determining your physical capability should be one of your priorities. Physical limits can however be conquered with appropriate planning.

*As the saying goes -'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy', or something to that effect. Giving yourself a little time for pleasure ought to be incorporated into your plans.

To begin achieving your lifetime goals, lay down a twenty-five year plan, then break it down further to five year plans. Further, break it down another time to one-year plans, and then six month plans then monthly plans, then weekly, then daily.

Then create a things-to-do list for the day.

Successful People...

1. Are willing to try out new things, knowing that if it doesn't work out as intended, failure is often cleverly disguised as a learning opportunity.

2. Believe and trust themselves first and foremost. They don't have to check with others to make decisions, they instinctively know what is right for them and they go for it!

3. Have a well-developed life strategy that includes a written life vision/mission, purpose, and goals statement.

4. Get things done, through whatever organizational/time management system that works for them. They make the most of each day and take action on important life tasks each and everyday.

5. Are able to discern (see clearly) other's reasons and motives, so they selectively choose who and what to align themselves with. They surround themselves with only the highest quality people, programs, and places.

6. Tap into the collective brainpower of others by reading books, magazines, and articles---anything that is helpful for their own development.

7. Value the process of learning for learning's sake. They do not just learn for a specific end---to get a certificate, degree, title, etc. They learn because it is fundamentally rewarding for them.

8. Are the teachers of the world, who share their knowledge with other people. They put themselves out there so the rest of us can benefit, and in exchange, their own learning grows and develops.

9. Do not like to stay the same, they love to grow and develop. To stay ahead of the game, they often reinvent themselves time and time again.

10. Not only know about specific subjects and topics, but also about what it means to be a human being at this time in our evolution. They are insatiably curious and want to know more about becoming bigger and brighter, as a result they naturally evolve.

Life-Mapping

Your life journey is comparable to a map; you must define the origin, destination, vehicle, backpack, landmarks, and route. With a map in front of you, your journey will be a lot more likely to end where you want.

Origin: Who you are right now? To gain insight concerning yourself, you need to look intimately at your beliefs, values, and ethics aside from your economic, professional, cultural, and civil status. Furthermore, also reflect on your skills, knowledge, strengths, and weaknesses.

Destination: Who do you want to be? Your destination should envelop all the aspects of your being: the physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual.

Vehicle: How are you going to get there? You need to make a map as to what methods you have accessible to help you arrive at your destination. Education, money, time - they all play into this.

Travel Bag: You bring with you certain knowledge, skills, and attitudes. These decide your ability and help you in attaining your vision. Given such, there is a need for you to evaluate what knowledge, skills, and attitudes you have at present and what you need to get along the way.

Landmarks and Route: Landmarks confirm if you are on the right track while the route determines the travel time. Therefore, in planning out your life, you also need to have landmarks and a route. These landmarks are your measures of success. These measures must be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time bound.

Anticipate Turns, Detours, and Potholes

The purpose of your life map is to reduce hurried and spur-of-the-moment decisions that can make you be unable to find your way. However, often our plans are modified along the way due to some inconveniences, delays, and other situations beyond our control. Like in any path, there are turns, detours, and potholes. With a basic map in place, these little changes won't be so difficult.

Speak With Confidence

Most people know the fear that comes from speaking in public. There are several things you can do to help you gain confidence in this area. Confidence comes through when you speak. The more you have, or can convince your audience you have, the more confidence they will have in you.

1. Talk about something you know. We all have our limitations, but that doesn't mean we can't learn to keep up and share what we know.

2. Listening is just as imperative as asking questions. Sometimes listening to the sound of our own voice can teach us to be more confident with ourselves and to say the things we believe in with confidence.

3. Be willing to make mistakes. Don't be scared to ask if you're saying the word correctly and if they're unsure about it then make a joke out of it.

4. Make eye contact. It's essential that you keep your focus when talking to a big group in a meeting or a gathering.

5. Have a sense of humor. A little bit of humor can do wonders to relieve the strain, or worse monotony when making your speech.

6. Socialize. Interaction is all about mingling with other people.

7. Record yourself and listen to make sure it comes across as you wish.

8. Smile. A smile says it all much like eye contact.

9. Find a mentor. Find someone who is comfortable with public speaking and try to model yourself after them until you gain your own confidence.

10. Prepare. If you have done all you can to make sure you know your speech thoroughly, you can give it confidently.

Practicing the above steps will help you improve your speaking skills. The more comfortable you become, the more avenues there are opened to you on the road to success.

Eight Necessary Questions for Self-Improvement

What do I really want?
Take time to figure out what you want to do with your life. Find something you enjoy doing and stick with it until you are at your greatest ability. Be the you that you want to be.

Should I really change?
Asking yourself this will help you decide if you are already doing something that you do well and enjoy. Maybe you just aren't concentrating on an area of your life that you'd like to see grow.

What's the bright side in all of this?
With so much is happening around us there seem to be no room for even considering that light at the end of the tunnel. And if it's a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!

Am I comfortable with what I'm doing?
There's always the simple way and the correct way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, or purse, shirt and whatnot. It doesn't take a whiz kid to perceive yourself as someone exceptional.

Have I done enough for myself?
Unhappiness in each phase can be hazardous in huge doses, but in tiny amounts you'll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.

Am I happy at where I am today?
If the answer is yes, then grab onto this and become the best you can be.

How much could I have?
I assume in this case there is no such thing as having too much or too little, but it's more on how much you actually require it.

What motivates me?
What motivates you? It's an answer you have to discover for yourself. There are so many things that can make everybody content, but to decide on one may be the hardest part.

Personal Time Management for Success

Personal time management is one of the greatest steps you can take to improving your life. The six areas that personal time management seeks to improve in anyone's life are physical, intellectual, social, career, emotional and spiritual.

*The physical part involves having a healthy body, less stress and more energy

*The intellectual part involves learning and other mental growth actions.

*The social part involves developing personal relations and being an active contributor to society.

*The career part involves school and work.

*The emotional part involves suitable feelings and desires and manifesting them.

*The spiritual part involves a personal search for meaning in your life.

Each area contributes to create the whole you. If you are ignoring one area then you are ignoring an essential piece of yourself.

A grand method of learning time management and improving your personal life is to follow a number of basic actions.

*Always settle on which task is essential and which are not necessary in achieving your goals and which activities are helping you preserve a balanced life style.

*Learn to say "No". You in reality see this advice often. Pay attention to it even if it involves saying the word to family or friends.

*Pat yourself at the back or just reward yourself in any manner for an effective time management result.

*Try and get the cooperation from people around you who are actually benefiting from your efforts of time management.

*Don't procrastinate. Attend to necessary things immediately.

*Have a positive attitude and set yourself up for success. But be realistic in your approach in achieving your goals.

From the moment you integrate into your lifetime management skills, you have opened several options that can provide a broad spectrum of solutions to your personal growth. It also creates more doors for opportunities to knock on.

Skills for Stress Management

Manage Your Time

Time management skills can allow you more time with your family and friends and possibly increase your performance and productivity. This will help reduce your stress.
Try these strategies:

· Save time by focusing, delegating, and scheduling time for yourself.
· Redirect your time to those activities that are important and meaningful to you.
· Manage your commitments - Don't commit to what is not important to you.
· Deal with procrastination by using a day planner, breaking large projects into smaller ones, and setting short-term deadlines.

Build healthy coping strategies

It is imperative that you recognize your coping strategies. One way to do this is by recording the stressful episode, your reaction, and how you coped in a stress journal. With this information, you can labor to modify unhealthy coping strategies.

Examine Your Lifestyle

Some behaviors and lifestyle choices affect your stress level. They may not cause stress directly, but they can interfere with the ways your body seeks relief from stress. Try to:

· Balance personal, work, and family obligations
· Have a sense of purpose
· Get enough sleep
· Eat a balanced diet
· Exercise
· Limit your consumption of alcohol.
· Don't smoke.

Create a Support System

Social support is the encouraging support you get from family, friends, and the community. More and more research indicates a strong relationship between social support and better mental and physical health.

Change Your Thinking

Fear, insecurity, anxiety, depression, rage, guilt, and a sense of worthlessness or powerlessness are emotions that trigger stress. Dealing with your negative thoughts can help reduce stress.

· Disproving illogical thoughts help you to evade exaggerating the negative thought
· Problem solving helps you name all aspects of a stressful event and find ways to deal with it.
· Altering your communication style helps you communicate in a way that makes your views known without making others feel put down, hostile, or intimidated.

Self-Improvement Takes Time

Everything that happens to us has a reason. And every now and then, one thing leads to another. Instead of locking yourself up in your cage of fears and weeping over past heartaches, embarrassment and failures treat them as your teachers and they will become your tools in both self improvement and success.

*Stop thinking and feeling as if you're a failure, because you're not. How can others accept you if YOU can't accept YOU?

*Self-acceptance is not just about having nice slender legs, or great abs. Focus on inner beauty.

*When people feel down and low about themselves, help them move up. Don't go down with them. They'll pull you down further and both of you will end up feeling inferior.

*The world offers a great opportunity for lessons, not mistakes. Don't feel unintelligent and hopeless evermore just because you failed. There's always a next time. Make room for self-improvement.

*Take things one at a time.

*Set meaningful and achievable goals.

*Sometimes, we don't realize that the little things that we do like a pat on the back, saying "hi" or "hello", greeting someone "good day" or telling Mr. Smith something like "hey, I love your tie!" are simple things that mean a lot to other people. When we're being thankful regarding beautiful things around us and other people, we also become beautiful to them.

*When you're willing to allow change and go through the course of self-improvement, it doesn't mean that everyone else is. The world is a place where people of diverse standards and outlook hang out.

We must always bear in mind that there's no such thing as an overnight success. We are all here to learn our lessons. When we open our doors for self-improvement, we increase our chances to head to the road of success

The Creative You

Everyone is born creative. The boxes of crayons in kindergarten were not limited to those who possessed potential; because the truth is, everybody has potential. This article will give you a few guidelines on how to bring creativity into your life.

Follow the beat of your own drum. Allowing for the suggestions of others will only bring disharmony to the music you are trying to create. If you have an unique idea, don't squander your time and effort trying to make people appreciate. The help you will in all probability come in the form of negative feedback. If all those geniuses listened to their peers, we would probably still be living in the Middle Ages.

Exercise. Take a walk. Run a mile or two. Send all those endorphins coursing through your veins. Exercising certainly clears and relaxes your mind and allows for anything to pop up.

Record your dreams. Those dreams may just create a creative spark in you. Many a book started just this way.

Discover your own style. People will welcome your originality more because it is uniquely yours. Being unique will allow people to see how important an asset you are.

Don't hide behind fancy gadgets or tools. The true artist in fact reduces the number of tools he has, as he gets better at his craft: he knows what works and what don't and only uses the few perfect tools.

Nothing will work without passion. What wakes you up in the mornings? What keeps the flame burning? What is the one thing that you'll die if you don't do? Sometimes you just want something so bad you become a virtual unstoppable. And that is passion. Passion will keep you going.

You can't force inspiration hits when you least expect it to, for those unpredictable yet inevitable moments you should prepare..

Blogging 101 to Build Your MLM Business

Blogging 101 is mostly about the blogging
vocabulary. To understand blogs, you need to know
the terms blog, platform, domain, and web host.
Once you have mastered these key elements of
blogging, you can enter any conversation about
blogging with confidence. After you know what
exactly a blog is, you will be on your way to
passing the final exam of blogging 101.

Blog is short for weblog, which simply means a
series of online posts presented in reverse
chronological order. That's all! Most blogs are text,
but there are also photo blogs and video blogs. The
rest of blogging 101 has to do with the technical
side of things. If you are setting up a blog, you will
need a platform, a web host, and a domain. A
blogging platform is a computer software program
that allows you to write posts and to update your
blog. Your platform is also what you use to design
the look of your blog, from color scheme to font
size. The web host is sort of like the virtual file
cabinet where your blog is stored. Your computer
communicates with the host when you upload or
edit a post. The domain is the online address of
your blog, and usually ends in ‘dot com'. Now that
you know what a blog is, what a platform is, and
what domains and hosts are, congratulate yourself!
You have passed blogging 101.

Seven Steps to Being Your Best Self

*Know your purpose
Are you drifting through life with little direction - hoping that you will discover contentment, health and wealth? Determine your life purpose or mission statement and you will have your own distinctive compass that will guide you to your truth north all the time.

* Know your values
What do you value most? Make a list of your top three values. Check your goals against your values. If the goal doesn't align with any of your top three values get rid of it.
.
* Know your needs
Unmet needs will stop you from living authentically. Take care of yourself. List your top five needs and get them met before it's too late!

* Know your passions
You know who you are and what you truthfully like in life. Express yourself and honor the people who have inspired you to become the very person you wanted to be.

* Live from the inside out
Commune with nature. Breathe deeply to quiet your distracted mind. Learn to listen to what your heart is saying.

*Honor your strengths
What are your positive traits? Find ways to express your authentic self through your strengths. You can increase your self-confidence when you willingly share what you know with others.

* Serve others
When you live authentically, you will find out that you develop an interconnected sense of being. When you are true to who you are, living your purpose and giving of your talents to the world around you, you give back in service what you came to share with others -your spirit - your essence. The rewards for sharing your gift with those close to you are indeed pleasing, much more if it were to be the eyes of a stranger who can appreciate what you have done to them.

Creative Problem Solving

First of all, in the light of creative problem solving, you must be open-minded to the fact that there may be more than one solution to the problem. And, you must be open to the fact that there may be solutions to problems you thought were unsolvable.

Try to understand the problem and have a solid understanding of it. If you know how it works, then you have a better foundation towards solving the problem.

Try to take note of all of the constraints and assumptions you have. Sometimes it is these assumptions that impede our view of possible solutions. You have to identify which assumptions are valid, in which assumptions need to be addressed.

Keep a creative, logical voice at the back of your head. When someone comes up with a prospective solution, try to think how you might make that solution work. Try to be creative. At the same time, look for chinks in the armor of that resolution.

It pays to remember that there may be more than just one solution being developed at one time. Try to keep track of all the solutions and their developments. Remember, there may be more than just one solution to the problem.

Always be open to new ideas. It can only be to your advantage to listen to all the ideas each person has. This is particularly correct when the person you are talking to has had experience solving problems comparable to yours. You don't have to be a gung-ho, solo hero to solve the problem. If you can arrange group reflection on the subject, it would be much better.

Be patient. As long as you keep at it, there is always a probability that a solution will present itself. Remember that no one was able to create an invention the first time around.
.

When Life Stinks

Life hits us hard when we least expect it. Below are things you can do to feel better when your day is going wrong. None of these things will change the situation, but they will make you feel better and help you get through until things get better - and they will get better.

*Pamper yourself - Have you ever noticed that pampering yourself goes a long way towards making you feel good? For some people, its shopping, working on the car, playing the guitar, taking a long bubble bath, exercising, eating ice cream. Think about what makes you feel comforted and spend some time doing it.

*Remember good times - When we go through a rough patch, it is the bad memories that keep haunting us. Take a stroll down memory lane (use a photo album if you have to!) and remember the good old days when life was less weary. Spend an extra amount of times on the memories that mean the most.

*Help someone - Helping someone will make you feel needed. I'm sure whoever it is, will be appreciative of your effort. It will also help, to keep you occupied. Sometimes seeing a smile on a person's face and knowing you had a hand in putting it there can turn a bad day into a wonderful one.

*Remember the less fortunate - By taking time to think about those who have less than you, you will start to think about what is good in your life. This will make all but the most drastic events seem better and easier to deal with.

*Remember that this too shall pass. Nothing lasts forever and most bad days don't carry into the next. Know that there is a more positive day just around the corner. A good night's sleep is all it takes to get there.

Keys to Self-Empowerment

A socially empowered person achieves so much greatness, basically because of the people that propel him to victory. He earns the faith and support of the people he has helped previously. He can accomplish everything because he knows how to maximize his social potential!

Self-empowerment is making a broad revamp in your life and turning yourself into a more contented and more successful person.

*Be genuine. Be genuinely nice and interested to people.

*Be the best listener that you can be. Make eye contact when the person talks to you. Listen as if every word matters.

3. Laugh out loud. A person with an overwhelming sense of humor attracts crowds and eventually, attracts success.

4. Don't forget yourself. Remember, love and value yourself before anyone else. If you deem yourself decent and worthy of love, people will flock to you and not trample on you.

5. Do random acts of kindness. Small acts of kindness matter the most, and this can be as simple as giving someone a surprise card or helping an elderly cross the street.

6. Contact your old friends. Adding these old friends to your list of support peers will definitely make you feel excellent all over.

7. Develop your personality. Get rid of the appalling traits and habits that continually get in the way of your growth.

8. Be confident. Be able to walk to the other corner of the room and introduce yourself to people with that captivating smile of yours. Just remember: be self-assured, not conceited.

9. Practice control. Never throw a tantrum. Stay unruffled and calm.

10. Keep nurturing your relationships.. Go out and have fun with them. Do things together. Happiness will never fly from your side as long as the people who matter the most are close to you.

In the end, self-empowerment means becoming a improved and more endearing person..

Building Effective Relationships

Society is defined as a web of associations, which requires all parties to work and contribute their share in order to achieve a common goal. Having a relationship that is good, where cooperation and respect are manifested, can make society work better. In this way every member works for the good of the whole. This can only be attained with effective and efficient relationships.

The easiest way to appreciate what is significant to another party is to ask them what they want and listen to what they have to say. Effective relationships require parties to openly convey their feelings and positions on all matters important to the relationship.

In order to build a more effective relationship, parties must treat each other with respect. We can show respect just by listening to the other party and by trying genuinely to comprehend how they function. This also means respecting yourself.

One more key area in forming an effective relationship is to tackle differences of the other party openly. Work towards a win-win solution for both parties. Developing an atmosphere where the other party can express their feelings when they need to.

Parties should be aware that certain things exist naturally but should be controlled in any dealings in any relationship. Human nature is one. Some of these things found in a relationship also include a history of stereotyping or mistrust, blaming the other person or party for a strained relationship, excluding the other party's feelings when focusing on a task, no clear and defined objectives, roles and expectations of each party in a relationship is also unclear.

Relationships are important to anyone, addressing issues and problems right away is a must to further improve the relationship. As they say 'No man is an Island'. Working together works for the whole - and that is what is most important.

Optimism Aids Success

In life, you are forever full of choices. You may choose to have a pessimist's view and live a self-defeated life or you may choose to take the optimist's route and have a challenging and fulfilling life.

Optimists expect the greatest. They tend to think defeat is just a fleeting delay, that its causes are confined to this one case.

Optimists tend to center on and plan for the 'difficulty' at hand. In other words, they most likely reinterpret an off-putting experience in a way that helps them discover and mature. Such people are unfazed by a bad situation, they perceive it as a challenge and try harder.

Bright expectancies of optimists also forecast better reactions during transitions to new environments, unexpected tragedies and unlikely turn of events. If they fall, they will stand up. They see opportunities instead of obstacles.

People react positively to optimists. Optimists are upbeat and less dependent on others for their happiness. They find no need to control or influence people. They usually draw people towards them. Their optimistic view of the world can be catching and influence those they are with.

Optimism seems a socially desirable trait in all communities. Those who share optimism are generally accepted while those who spread gloom, panic and hysteria are treated unfavorably.

When the going gets tough, optimists get tougher. Pessimists are more likely to quit trying when difficulties arise. Optimists typically maintain higher levels of subjective well being during times of stress than do people who are less optimistic
They persevere. They just don't give up easily, they are also known for their patience. Inching their way a step closer to that goal or elusive dream.

Optimists are healthier and live longer. Medical research has justified that simple pleasures and a positive attitude can cause a considerable boost in the body's ability to fight disease.

Build Your Self Esteem

So how do you keep up your self-esteem in a hard-hitting atmosphere? It seems like everywhere you turn. The best way is to know the kinds of people and situations that will bring you down and thwart your efforts to stay focused. Here we will focus on some of these people and situations you need to avoid if possible.

* Negative Work Environment - Beware of the "dog eat dog" theory where each person is fighting just to get ahead. Competition is everyplace. Make sure it is a fair competition.

* Other People's Behavior - gossipmongers, whiners, backstabbers, controllers, naggers, complainers, exploders... all these kinds of people will create awful feelings for you

* Changing Environment - Changes challenge our paradigms. Change will be there forever you can't avoid this one, but can learn to deal with it.

* Past Experience - Don't let pain change into fear. Treat each failure and mistake as a lesson.

* Negative World View - Don't wrap yourself up with all the negativities of the world. In building self-esteem, we must learn how to make the best out of worst situations.

* Identity - You have your own identity. If your parent is a failure, it doesn't signify you have to be a failure as well. Learn from other people's experience, so you'll never have to encounter the same mistakes.

You can't always avoid or even change a situation. And you certainly aren't going to have much luck changing a person. You can, however, learn how to avoid such situations and people and deal effectively with those you can't avoid.

Just putting the above advice into action in your life, you will see your self-esteem grab hold and start to climb. Before long, you will instinctively begin to know when a situation is bad for your self-esteem.

No Guarantees

Life is like a road. There are long and short roads; smooth and rocky roads; crooked and straight paths. Just like any road, there are corners, detours, and crossroads in life. Definitely the most confusing road that you come across is a crossroad. With four roads to choose from and with limited knowledge on where they would go, which road will you take?

There are no guarantees. This is one of the most essential things you must understand about life. Nobody alleged that choosing to do the right thing all the time would always lead you to happiness. Loving someone with all your heart does not guarantee that it will be returned. Gaining fame and fortune does not guarantee happiness. There are many potential outcomes, which you cannot control. The only thing you have power over is the decisions that you will make, and how you react to different situations.

Had you known that you were making an erroneous decision, would you have gone along with it? Definitely not, why would you choose a particular path when you know it would get you lost? However, think about results that occurred because you did make that decision? Was there something good that came from it? Did you learn a lesson?

You can't allow indecision about whether your choice is right or wrong cause you to be immobile. You need to keep moving along your life's road and sometimes that means having blind faith in yourself and your decision-making. If you have taken the time to know yourself and what you want from life, you can better your chances of making correct decisions, even when there are unknowns involved.

Life can be an exciting, albeit, bumpy at times, ride. Don't let indecision find you sitting on the curb and watching everyone pass you buy. Risk it, take that chance, and you will not regret that you did.

Become A Leader

Contrary to what most people believe, leadership is not about power. It is not about harassing people or driving them using fear. It is about encouraging others towards the goal of the organization. It is putting everyone on the same page and helping him or her see the big picture of the organization. You must be a leader not a boss.

People follow others when they see a clear sense of purpose. People will only follow you if they see that you know where you are going. If you yourself do not know where you're headed to, chances are people will not follow you.

Being a leader is not about what you make others do. It's about who you are, what you know, and what you do. You are a reflection of what you're subordinates must be.

Studies have shown that one other bases of good leadership are the trust and confidence your subordinates have of you. Trust and confidence is built on good relationships, trustworthiness, and high ethics.

Once you have their trust and confidence, you may now proceed to communicate the goals and objectives you are to undertake.

Communication is a very important key to good leadership. The knowledge and technical expertise you have must be clearly imparted to other people. You must be able to assess situations, weigh the pros and cons of any decision, and actively seek out a solution.

Leaders are not do-it-all heroes. You should not claim to know everything, and you should not rely upon your skills alone. You should recognize the skills and talents your subordinates have. Only when you come to this realization will you be able to work as one cohesive unit.

Remember being a leader takes a good deal of work and time. It is not learned overnight.

You Can Be a Success

Have you ever wondered why some people seem to have all the success while others struggle for years and never seem to get anywhere? Are you one of those who always seem to struggle? Below are some hints on you can become one of those who achieve success.

*Try stepping outside your comfort zone once in a while. Great things come to pass when you make friends with your discomfort zone.

*Don't be afraid to make mistakes. There is an old saying that people who haven't made mistakes haven't made anything. Make mistakes and learn from them.

*Be aware of any negative thoughts you hold about yourself - challenge them, are they really true, if so what is the evidence? Are you giving yourself a hard time?

*Make an effort to try and look on the bright side of things. Purposely find something positive about the issue and focus on that. You can almost always see another side of things. It just depends where your bias is.

*Read some good uplifting books,

*Train yourself to finish what you start. Follow through - you owe it to yourself and others.

*Focus on the present moment. When you live in the past too much you stop living now.

*Learn what is important to you in life - is it love? Is it money? Is it your family? What do you love doing? Who/what makes you happy?

*Realize that setbacks and knocks are just a normal part of life. If life were brilliant all the time we would take it for granted and not appreciate it.

*Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could.. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

The Definition of Blogging

The definition of blogging is something that is very
much in flux, as the new technologies that appear every
day redefine what a blog is, what a blog can be, and
what a blog should do. For many years, blogs were
defined as text-based websites that kept records of days,
similar to a captain's log on a sailing ship. However,
this started to change as the group of people who kept
blogs became more diverse. The more bloggers began
to explore the limits of the medium and of the
technology that made it possible, the more the
boundaries of what could be called a "blog" expanded.

Today, there are an abundance of photo blogs, and there
are even video blogs as well. Mobile blogging devices
may well change the definition of blogging entirely by
making it possible for bloggers to create new kinds of
posts. Another element of the blogosphere that is
starting to redefine blogging is the corporate blog. As
more companies hire writers to keep blogs with the sole
purpose of creating positive buzz about their brand,
bloggers across the globe are arguing about whether
these manufactured blogs are really worthy of the name.
Between all of these different forces that are constantly
expanding and reshaping the blogosphere, it is difficult
to imagine that the definition of what is and is not a
blog will ever remain fixed for very long.

A Great Idea For a Blogging Web Site is No Longer Enough

Because there are so many blogs and web sites about
blogs on the internet, it can be tough to distinguish your
blogging web site from all of the others. Whether you
are starting up a new web site aimed at bloggers or
whether you are looking to make your existing blogging
site more distinctive, the key to building and
maintaining a site that will capture the interest and
attention of the blogging community is finding your
niche. If you can fill a unique need in a way that no
other web site does, you'll be able to build a lasting
readership among web surfers. Once you have
discovered a niche, you will still have a lot to do, but
finding your place in the blogosphere is the place to
begin.

Every great blogging web site starts with a great idea,
and you can't build a successful site that will last
without one. There are many great sites aimed at
today's bloggers, and competition for the attention of
this growing demographic is fierce. To make your
blogging web site stand out from the pack, you will
need to offer something that no other site is currently
offering, or you will need to do the same thing that an
already popular site does but in a more impressive or
valuable way.

One way to discover an ideal model for your blogging
web site is to look at the sites that have successfully
captured a blogging audience already to determine if
you can appropriate some of their strategies to help
realize your vision. Of course, you will also need to add
a unique flair to your project in order to stand apart
from your competition. Many people agree that the web
sites that do the best in today's market are the sites that
have the most personality. The fiercely individual
surfers who are bloggers are a demographic that
responds especially strongly to personality, so consider
how you can give your site a unique and attractive
feeling by lending your own voice and sensibility to
your site's design and content.

Once you have a great idea for your site, have
pinpointed a special niche that you are well equipped to
fill, and have infused the site with personality, the next
step is figuring out how to get the word out to bloggers.
In the long run, a great idea just isn't enough to propel
your blogging web site to success. You will need to
draft a smart and realistic marketing plan in order to
draw readers to your site. Once you hook a blogger,
your great content will keep them coming back, but it is
vital to get that first glance or your site won't have a
chance to shine.

Top 7 Small Business Tax Tips

Here are seven ways for owners of small businesses to save money on their taxes.

1. Incorporate Yourself: If you`re still a proprietor or partner of a business, it`s time to incorporate yourself. Not only will you limit your liability, but you may enjoy lower tax rates on small business income and other tax advantages as well.

2. Be Home Based: If possible, continue (or switch to) being a home based business. Not only will you keep your overhead down, but you will be able to write-off (or deduct) the business use of your home.

3. Income Split: Pay reasonable wages to your spouse and children. In this way, you can legally divert income taxed at your higher rate to your family members that are in a lower tax bracket.

4. Rearrange Your Affairs For Maximum Tax Savings: Can you make some changes to turn your hobby into a moneymaking business? Can you use that extra room in your house as a home office for your business? Can you arrange to use your car more for business purposes? Can you arrange for more of your entertainment expenses to be business related?

5. Document Your Expenses Well: Do you document your expenses well so that they would survive a tax audit? Have you kept a mileage log so that you can prove the percentage business use you claim for your vehicle? Have you kept receipts for all your entertainment expenses and listed the business purpose on the back of each receipt?

6. Be Punctual: File all returns and pay all taxes due (income, payroll, sales, et cetera) on time. This way, you avoid expensive late filing (and payment) penalties and interest.

7. Develop a Tax Planning Mindset: Some people only worry about their taxes during tax season. However, you will save a fortune in taxes, legally, if you make tax planning your year-round concern. Do you make business and personal purchases, investments, and other expenditures with tax savings in mind?
